The Peeking Death

“Pak Cik Lah, our neighbor passed away yesterday”- my mom told me yesterday when I was calling her…InnaliLLAHi wa inna ilaihi raajiuun! ("To Allah (Almighty God) we belong, and to Him is our return.") [2:156]
I was quite shocked because before this he looked very fine, mom mentioned he got fever for about two or three days before being invited to return to ALLAH… yeah…life is very synonym to death. That undeniable truth will happen to all of us… life is only a journey, not yet a destination…

Say “The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the knower of thing secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!” (Al-Jumu’ah: 8)

Almighty God blesses us with all His gifts. The Sun gives us light during the day to help us see and it helps our crops grow so that we can eat. But the Sun also teaches us other things. Almighty God causes the day to die with its setting and allows the night to take over, which is a time for rest. In this way, He may be showing us that all of us will eventually have to die just like the day. And when the Sun rises in the morning again after our period of rest, it is as if Almighty God is telling us that we too will be raised to life after we have died. These are all signs of Almighty God to teach us to take care of our life.

"every soul shall taste death, then you shall all be brought back to HIM"
(29:57)
